My plan for an emergency flood is to gather up as many people as i can and get the word spread around that the flood is coming from which direction. I would get all the supplies needed and all possible. then I would find high ground and try to help assist everyone to save there pets kids and love ones in a safe area. with tarp spread out over homes to block windows door and cars to help get less damage to personal property so that less things you have to worry about instead of be scared that you might lose a home or specail items that are being charished by you. By looking at other flood I realize that things are being damaged wether they are there to see it or not but if I knew the flood was coming I would help support the cost of damages before hand like bording up the door to places.
Anything that can get ruined. and some people dont know how to swim so to get life jackets would be a huge save too with multiple layers of clothes on too so you dont get cold. buy rafts from the store or cannos so you can be above ground level. while teaming up with armed forces and firefighters so everyone is on the same page before hand so they can perpare for the issue before it happens. but to improve survival overall for me and my fellow community is to get as much resources as possible while finding high ground with enought supplies to help us last at least a few days because its never garentee when the flood will go away.
and as you can see over the years floods will not go away if annything increase little by little chart shows to 2007 but to this day certian loaction still gets floods. and should have no reason to always be prepare for one that can come out of the blue. learning a lot from the 102 9/11 movie show me how you should be prepare for anything that could happen.
